ABOUT OUR TRADITIONAL PUB

Our beautiful traditional Pub is located on the A1101 in Main Street, Welney. It is full of traditional character with its spacious and pretty beer garden, the perfect place to eat, drink and relax.

You can look forward to a hospitable and timeless pub atmosphere with friendly service. Our approach to home cooked food is straight forward using high quality, locally sourced ingredients and cooked with care by our Head Chef  Kyle Cowles.

The Lamb and Flag offers Bed and Breakfast, welcoming fisherman, wild-fowlers, bird watchers and tourists.

Close by are the Cathedral City of Ely and the Historic Georgian market town of Wisbech. In the heart of the fens are the Ouse washes with the Welney Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust only half mile away. The Lamb and Flag is adjacent to the Old Bedford and Delph rivers famous for Coarse fishing, in particular Zander and specimen Pike, with day tickets available on the banks.

The Lamb and Flag is the ideal location for bird watchers and nature lovers all year round.
